| Purpose: | ProCAST is specialized Finite Elements Method (FEM) simulation software for predictive evaluations of the different casting processes; modeling, filling, solidification, mechanical properties, distortions and residual stresses. |
| Kratki opis metode: | For simulation in the Visual Cast module, the surface and volume network is set in the "mesh" application on the inserted 3D geometry. The network determines the number of elements in geometry, the smaller they are, the simulation is more precise. The parameters of the material (mold, casting, ingate system) and filling are defined in cast application. The simulation is monitored in the '' viewer '' application within Visual Cast. |
